Your screen, cinema-grade.
Record your screen or drop in any video. Scrinema finds the clicks, adds cinematic zooms with spring-smooth camera motion, puts your window on a beautiful background and exports a 4K MP4 — all on your own computer.
Works in Chrome, Edge and Safari 26+ on Windows, macOS, Linux and ChromeOS. No sign-up, no watermark, no limits.
- 0bytes uploaded, ever
- 4K·60MP4 export, GPU encoded
- 100%runs inside your browser
- $0no plan, no watermark
This is not a video file — it is the real Scrinema engine rendering a synthetic recording live in your browser, with zooms placed automatically.
Everything a demo needs
Built like a desktop studio. Runs like a web page.
The same ideas that made Screen Studio famous — rebuilt for the browser, free, and private by design.
Automatic zoom on clicks
Scrinema analyses the pixels of your recording, finds where menus open, dialogs appear and text is typed, and places zoom blocks there — with anticipation, holds and direct pans between nearby actions. Everything is editable.
Spring-physics camera
Smooth, bouncy or snappy: the camera moves on a damped spring evaluated in output time, so cuts and speed changes never break the motion. The preview and the export are mathematically identical.
Backgrounds & frames
Mesh gradients, solid colours or your own blurred image. Rounded corners, deep shadows, padding, a macOS or Windows title bar.
One click, every platform
16:9 for YouTube, 9:16 for TikTok and Reels, 1:1 and 4:5 for LinkedIn. In vertical formats the camera follows the action inside the crop.
Cursor effects
Click ripples in your brand colour, a spotlight that follows the detected pointer, an optional large cursor overlay.
Privacy masks
Pixelate or blur passwords, e-mails and customer names for any time range. Burned into the export, never a separate layer someone can remove.
Smart speed-up
Loading screens and long pauses are detected and played at 4× with one click. Trim, split, remove and speed up any part on the timeline.
Webcam bubble & audio
Record system audio and your microphone together, add a round camera bubble in any corner, mute or keep audio in sped-up parts.
4K 60 fps MP4, encoded by your GPU
Frame-exact offline rendering through WebCodecs: H.264 MP4 or VP9 WebM, 720p to 4K, 30 or 60 fps, written straight to disk with no memory limit. No queue, no server, no upload.
Never lose work
Recordings stream to your browser's private storage while you record, so a crash or a closed tab keeps the file. Projects autosave; undo and redo are unlimited; keyboard shortcuts for everything.
Three steps
From raw capture to share-ready in minutes
Record or import
Capture the whole screen, one window or a tab — with system sound and your mic — or drop an MP4/WebM/MOV from OBS, Loom or your phone.
Let the director work
The analysis finds clicks, typing and scrolling and proposes zooms. Pick a preset for your platform, a background and cursor effects. Drag blocks on the timeline to fine-tune, add privacy masks.
Export
Choose MP4 or WebM, 720p–4K, 30 or 60 fps. Rendering runs on your graphics card and the file lands on your disk — nothing ever leaves your computer.
Why this one
Compared with the tools you may know
Screen Studio proved that auto-zoom demos win attention. It is excellent — and macOS-only, paid, with a desktop install. Scrinema brings the idea to every computer with a browser.

Good to know
Questions, answered
How can a web page know where I clicked?
It can't see your mouse — browsers do not expose the pointer outside their own tab. Instead Scrinema looks at the pixels: a menu opening, a dialog appearing or text being typed is a visible change, and the moving cursor is a tiny moving blob. That is enough to place zooms where the action is. You can move, resize or delete every zoom.
Is it really free? What's the catch?
There is no server to pay for, so there is nothing to charge you for. No watermark, no length limit, no account. If the tool saves you time, you can support the project with a coffee.
Does it work with recordings from OBS, Loom or my phone?
Yes — drop any MP4, WebM, MOV or MKV your browser can decode. The analysis and all effects work on imported files exactly as on recordings made here.
Which browsers are supported?
Chrome and Edge give the best experience (screen capture with system audio, hardware MP4 export, streaming to disk). Safari 26+ works too. Firefox can import and edit, but export falls back to a slower real-time WebM capture because its video encoding support is incomplete.
How long can a recording be?
Recordings stream to your browser's private storage as fragmented MP4, so they are limited by disk space, not memory. Exports are written straight to a file you choose. Hour-long recordings are fine.
Can I replace the cursor with a bigger one, like Screen Studio does?
Screen Studio hides the real cursor and draws its own, which needs a system-level app. In the browser the original cursor is baked into the pixels, so Scrinema adds effects around the detected position (ripples, spotlight, an optional large arrow) instead of replacing it.
Your data
Private by architecture, not by promise
Scrinema is a static website. There is no backend that could receive your screen — recording, analysis, editing and encoding all happen inside the browser tab.
- No upload, no cloud, no account
- No cookies, no analytics, no trackers
- Projects live in your browser's storage and can be deleted with one click
- Open web standards: WebCodecs, Screen Capture API, Canvas
Make the demo you'd be proud to send
